Everyone is welcome at Christ Church, Upper Armley!

Children and young people Sunday service groups (ages 5 – 16)

We have some fabulous volunteers that currently run two groups during most Sunday services for children and young people.

One group runs for children aged 5 – 10 years old and the other group runs for young people aged 11 – 16 years old. The third Sunday of each month is usually an All Age Service where we all worship together as a whole church.

Both groups focus on exploring God’s love for us, the Bible, prayer and caring for the world with age appropriate and fun activities. Faith is a lifelong journey and so it doesn’t matter whether your child has started their relationship with God or not, everyone is welcome and we love to hear young people’s views and questions about Christianity.

Fun for Under 5s in Sunday services

If you have a child aged under 5 they are most welcome to enjoy the play area in the side aisle during our services where you will find a selection of toys and books for them to play with and read. Parents/carers are asked to supervise their children in this area and there is plenty of seating here.

Youth group (teens)

We also have a youth group that meets at different points in the month after school. This group is for those at high school and college and offers fellowship for teenagers that are exploring their faith as well as a wide range of social activities.
